Used 1991-up in many GM models (replaced the 440T4, but was phased in, so there is MUCH overlap).

It has an aluminum case. It is distinguishable from the 440T4 in that it has a detachable differential housing, no TV cable and a bolt on servo on the side of the case.
This is a computer controlled front wheel drive overdrive transmission.

Horizontal cooler line is the cooler return line.

Band adjustments:
Forward = not adjustable
2-1 Coast = not adjustable
Reverse = not adjustable

Gear Ratios:
2.921:1 1st gear
1.568:1 2nd gear
1.00:1 3rd gear
0.705:1 4th gear
2.385:1 reverse
